What exactly do I get when I buy a prompt?
A prompt string (a piece of text that you can paste into your AI model's input field). In addition, many prompts will include usage guidelines explaining how to use the prompt or tweak it for your specific case.
Your purchase will be saved to your Lazy Prompts account and you will be able to view the prompt string and usage guidelines in Lazy Prompts.
How can I ensure that the AI prompts I purchase are compatible with my tech stack?
Each prompt is tagged with its AI model, such as ChatGPT, Midjourney, etc. We recommend buying prompts that you already have the model for, especially if you need to integrate them into a custom tech stack
Can I request customized AI prompts that are tailored to my specific needs?
Not yet, but this is a feature we have on our roadmap.
Will I get access to AI models as part of my purchase?
No. When you buy a prompt on Lazy Prompts, you get access to the prompt string (the text that you paste into your AI model) and its usage guidelines (tips and tricks on how to get the most out of your prompt). Access to the AI model is not included and will have to be purchased separately from the company that owns the AI.
Can AI prompts be customized to reflect the brand's tone and personality?
Each AI prompt is different and not all of them will support tonal customization. Please read the prompt descriptions carefully before purchasing, to ensure that you are satisfied with your results. We also have many tags that can be used to find prompts designed specifically for your brand's tone.
What are the benefits of using AI prompts?
Generative AIs such as Midjourney and ChatGPT have the potential to cut enterprise workflows to a fraction of what they would be when done by hand. It is important to note that AIs are not infallible, even with highly optimized prompts, and their output should always be verified by a human. However, verification typically takes much less time than the workflow would be without the AI's help.
Can AIs generate entirely novel content?
Yes. Contrary to popular opinion, modern AIs such as Midjourney and ChatGPT are fully capable of original creation. These AIs learn the same way humans do — by looking at many, many examples, and slowly learning what looks good and what doesn't. Because AIs learn in the same manner as people, they can sometimes memorize specific patterns than appear many times (such as watermarks or turns of phrase). However, high quality AI prompts can help avoid this.

What share do I get from sales?
Prompt engineers receive 80% of the sale, after Stripe transaction fees (2.9% + $0.30).
How do I get paid?
Lazy Prompts partners with Stripe for billing. As part of setting up your seller account, you will be asked to link your bank account via Stripe. Payments are made directly to your bank account.
How will I know how many sales I've made?
After registering as a seller, you will have access to a dashboard of all your listings, including how many times each listing sold.
How do I get my prompts featured?
Featured prompts are handpicked by the Lazy Prompts team. If you want yours to be considered, make sure it has high-quality examples, a good description, and produces reliable, consistent output. To submit your prompt for consideration, contact us.
How long does it take for my prompt to be approved?
Up to one week.
